Even if engraved with the knife, the cutting mat does not stretch. Allows you to perform an indefinite number of cuts without wearing out.
The cuts, however, must be vertical. Therefore it is not advisable to make cuts with the knife tilted to one side.

One of the two sides is equipped with a grid to be used as a guide for cutting.
If the cutting mat is not held horizontally it may remain wavy. It may also ripple if placed near a heat source or in the heat of the sun.
