Mountboard square

Mountboard square
Mountboard square in transparent plastic material.

Used to trace the marks of the internal hole of the matboard.
Insert a well-pointed pencil into one of the small holes in the metric scale and slide the square along a raised edge of the worktop, thus obtaining a line on the sheet. The operation must be repeated for the 4 sides.
Instead of the raised edge, you can use the support supplied by Rinaldin, that is a cardboard sheet with a raised edge (code 224S).
You can also use a metallic ruler, for example rulers 2292, 2293, 2294 or the rulers of Logan W3001 - L540 - L560.
If a metallic ruler is used, the matboard must be placed against the edge of the ruler. While one hand firmly holds the ruler, the other hand draws a line on the matboard by sliding the pencil into a small hole in the square. The operation must be repeated on the 4 sides.
With this system you can also trace cut marks on octagonal or hexagonal matboards.
