Kit to fix the 3 metres Up Rail
The kit for the installation of the Up Rail includes everything needed to apply the track to the ceiling, namely:
• 9 clips to be fixed to the ceiling
• 18 screws and dowels used to fix the clips to the ceiling
• Pair of caps that are used to close the ends of the rail
The clips should be fixed at an approximate distance of 33 cm from each other. If the total weight to hang is negligible, the distance between the clips may be greater.
Care must be taken that the row of clips is well aligned.
Then the rail is applied clips by pression until the click is heard.
At this point you can apply the "Twister" vertical wires in perlon or steel (as for any other type of rail). The vertical wires are widely illustrated on another page of this site.
We remind you that the Up Rail, unlike the other rails, are hung from the ceiling and not from the wall. They are available in length of 2 meters and 3 meters. They are white but can be painted. They bear a maximum weight of 20 kg per meter.
For the application of the 2-meter Up Rail there is a special kit (code 4098) that includes the same accessories but in quantities proportional to the length of the rail.
