Water-based Instant Mission (also called Wunda Size) is a water-based synthetic adhesive.
It is characterized by a fast drying time. The gold leaf, in fact, can be applied after 15 minutes. It is therefore a system to be preferred when time is very limited.
The water mission can only be used for gilding inside. For external gilding it is necessary to resort to the solvent mission.
Also, the water mission cannot be used on water repellent materials such as glass, plastics and metals. In these cases it is necessary to resort to the alcohol mission.
Due to its practicality, the water-based mission can also be used to retouch gilding performed with other systems.
It can be diluted with water.
