EMBOSSING
The embossing technique consists in creating designs and decorations impressing thin sheets of copper, aluminum or other malleable metals.
The work generally starts from the wrong side of the plate and it finishes on the front.
To return the pattern on the surface of the plate it is recommended to lay the sheet with the image on the plate and trace over with a pencil.
To create the relief you can use various tools with rounded or pointed tip. You can use the tip of a ballpoint pen or crochet needles, or nails, etc.

It is also necessary a felt pad or other spongy and compact material. Lacking even the mouse pad is fine.
The blanks obtained in the back of the plate can be filled with wax or plaster.
