Keencut Ultimat Futura 1500 mountcutter
Ultimat Futura cutters are manufactured in Great Britain by Keencut, a company with a long and qualified experience in designing mountcutters. The Keencut mountcutters incorporate all of the latest technical improvements.
Technical features of the "Ultimat Futura":
• Unique sliding gauge pin-points blade entry and exit spot for exact free hand cutting
• Base made of anodized extruded aluminium
• Device for both bevel cuts (45°) and vertical cuts (90°)
• Device for quick insertion and release of squaring arm and guide
• Ergonomically designed cutting head for comfort and features ball and thrust bearings for superb precision. The bevel head has an ejector for quick blade changing and the vertical head can be locked in a position to allow easy cutting of the thickest boards.
• Unique lift-and-hold roller which leaves both hands free for positioning mounts
• Spring steel hinges, immune to accidental damage.
• Fast reverse load-eject blade system with front stop for quick blade resetting.
• Unique clip on margin guide and squaring arm allows for easy removal when not in use. Re-fitting is simple, no tools are required and re-alignment is assured. Maximum margin width is 19 cm.
Available in two sizes:
• Code KUF = Max. length of mountboard 1220 mm
• Code KUF150 = Max. length of mountboard 1500 mm
Blades:
• Rectangular blades for 45° cuts - Pack 100 (code L6)
• Heavy duty rectangular blades for 45° cuts - Pack 100 (code L3)
• Trapezoidal blades for 90° cuts - Pack 100 (code L2)
All cutters come with detailed instruction manuals both in English and in the main languages.
