Longer strips of 75 cm have a hole in the center for the eventual inclusion of the cross. The cross beams are used to give more solidity to the large looms and, in particular, the very long and narrow frames.
The considerable height of the stretche bar is used to allow the paint on the canvas frame edge.
The wedges are used to tension the canvas in a uniform way. They are inserted into the slots after applying the canvas to the canvas frame.
The price is for single batten, not for couples.
The wedges must be ordered separately from the stretsher bars.
