Stretcher bars in fir wood with splines (composed of splines glued within each other). In this way the wood becomes more solid and it is not subject to torsions.

Price is for single bar, not for the pair.
The stretcher bars longer than 70 cm have a hole in the centre for the traverse insertion. The traverse are need to provide additional robustness to large frames and particularly for long and narrow frames.
For each stretcher bar and for each traverse a free pair of wedges is supplied. The wedges are used to uniformly stretch the canvas. They are to be inserted in the appropriate slots after having applied the canvas to the frame.
Wedges must be ordered separately. They are supplied in the following packs:
