The projection of the support with respect to the backrest is 15 millimeters.
This protrusion is suitable for frames with a width of approximately 3 centimeters. If the width is greater than 3 cm, the inclination of the frame becomes excessive. If, on the other hand, the width of the frame is less than 3 cm, the inclination tends to decrease.
For example, if the width of the frame is 1 cm, the inclination almost completely disappears and the frame tends to fall forward (especially if the backrest is small, such as, for example, 9x13 or 10x15 cm). In these cases the framer should reduce the projection of the support. This operation can be easily done with the saw that is used for cutting the rods.
