THE SERIGRAPHY
The serigraphy is a printing artistic technique which consists in depositing the ink on a support through the open areas of a fabric.
The main steps are in sequence:
• You create first the design (using various techniques) on the frame, ie you remove a part of the fabric where the ink will pass.
• The frame is placed on the paper (or other support) that will receive the press.
• Then, using a rubber spatula, spread the ink over the entire frame, including of course the exposed areas.
• The ink passes through the open spaces and is deposited on the paper (or other support).
• The frame is then removed and the support is being dried.
The frame can be reused after being cleaned.
