This is a complete oval frame which includes:
• Empty oval frame
• Glass
• Back in dark colored fiber equipped with two hangers (one on the short side and one on the long side)
The back is fixed to the frame with slats that can be folded easily with the fingers to facilitate the insertion or replacement of the subject in the frame.
The oval frames complete with glass and back are only available in the small sizes, up to and including the 20x25 size.
The larger oval frames are only available empty as the large glass would easily break.

General information for oval frames
The oval frames are in ayous and are available in these versions:
• gold
• antique walnut
• antiqued walnut with gold thread
• rough wood
The gilding was done with imitation gold leaf. A fixative varnish was applied over the gold leaf.
The oval frames measuring 60x80 are made up of 4 pieces glued together to obtain greater flatness and to reduce the risk of breakage.
The 50x60 and 50x70 frames are made up of 6 pieces.
The 34x45 and 40x50 frames are made up of 4 pieces.
Smaller size frames are made from a single piece.
The measurements indicated in the catalog are the internal measurements of the frame.
In fact, the actual size is increased by about 2 millimeters compared to the declared size. For example: the 10x15 oval frame is actually 10.2 x 15.2 cm. It is therefore possible to insert a glass and a back panel measuring exactly 10x15 cm.
