The frames "Venice" are made of wood gilt and patinated by hand. Dark gray band.
Closed angles on which is applied a golden decoration in wood pulp.
Width of the moulding 96 mm.
It is possible to insert a passe-partout of 5 cm (provided by Rinaldin).
In this case its measures decrease by 10 cm per side (for example, a frame 40x50 becomes 30x40 if we insert the passe-partout).
Available in the following internal dimensions:
34x40 cm (becomes 24x30 if you enter the pass)
35x45 cm (becomes 25x35 if you enter the pass)
45x60 cm (becomes 35x50 if you enter the pass)
In fact, the actual internal size is a bit larger than that one indicated. For example, the actual size of a frame 30x40 is 30,5 x40,5 cm. The size of the stretcher bars, in fact, tends to increase slightly when the wedges are hammered to stretch the canvas.
The rebate of the frame without the mat is 27 mm. It is possible, therefore, to frame paintings on high stretcher bars up to 27 mm (25 mm if the frame is with glass).
