The "MaimeriBlu" watercolor colors are obtained from a single pigment. If the color were obtained from two or more different pigments it would be dirty with a low resistance to light.
The series MaimeriBlu consists of 90 colors at four price groups.
Each color is available in 1.5 ml blistered half-pan or in 12 ml aluminum tubes.
The sales unit by color is 3 pieces.
The MaimeriBlu watercolor color binder consists of natural Kordofan gum arabic and glycerine that complement one another and guarantee a perfectly balanced blend, a stable hold and a perfect penetration into the surface of the painting.
Particular attention has been given to the transparency of colors: 46 MaimeriBlu watercolors are transparent, 25 semi-transparent, 19 opaque (as shown in the feature sheet of each color).
The pigment granulation is also specified for each color. The granulation can be natural at the origin or obtained by grinding. In any case, the granulation degree of each color is uniform, that is 5 microns.
