Bare wood moulings can be used in various ways, painted, patinated, waxed, gilded or left natural. Ideal for the creative framer.
Ayous is a light yellowish wood, soft and light without veins. Ayous trees grow in West Africa.
Due to its resistance to heat and humidity, its lightness and the absence of knots, ayous is widely used for frames.
Its weak point is the possibility of being attacked by woodworms. For this reason, the ayous mouldings must undergo an anti-woodworm treatment. In fact, all Rinaldin ayous mouldings are treated against woodworm.
